This morning, Jagex continues with its long-term plans for Old School RuneScape. 11 years since its launch, the God Wars Dungeon storyline is finally at an end, with its final boss added in an expansion that will be released this week.

The God Wars Dungeon isn't going to end anytime soon, but it's heading toward its final chapter with the introduction to the ultimate boss, Nex the General. As the final foe in a storyline that's been an entire decade in the making and bringing her down will not be an easy feat to say the least. Players teams can grow up to 80 at a time that's why you'll not intend to tackle the challenge on your own.

Nex appears to be very popular as an addition to the game. Every RuneScape update needs to receive 75 % approval from players before going live, and the General received approval with an overwhelming 90 % of players deciding to add her in.

Any member of any level can be the boss, but Jagex suggests those levels as follows: 70 Ranging 70 Strength, 70 Agility, 70 Hitpoints. Also, you must complete all of the Desert Treasure quest, so you have access to The Frozen Door RS Gold. This door is used to access Nex's world giving you the chance to try to kill the monster on your own.
