To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Stuttgart jeweler KUTTER 1825 and its 75th anniversary of collaboration with the brand, Patek Philippe has launched the Calatrava Ref. 5212A-012 Weekly Calendar Watch Jeweller KUTTER 1825 Limited Edition. This watch incorporates the iconic colors of ameo, a jewelry brand under Jeweller KUTTER 1825, into the dial and strap, offering unique and practical functions suitable for everyday wear.

The new watch is crafted from stainless steel, with a diameter of 40 mm and a thickness of 11.18 mm, exuding classic elegance. The sapphire crystal features a box-shaped design with a slight dome, adding to its vintage charm. Compared to the standard model, the most noticeable difference in the limited edition is the light blue dial and strap stitching. This color is not cold but rather light and casual, pleasing to the eye.

The hour and minute hands and baton hour markers are made of white gold with a black finish, creating a striking contrast with the light blue dial and ensuring excellent legibility. Five hands are positioned at the center of the dial: dauphine hour and minute hands, a regular seconds hand, and two hands with red tips; the shorter hand indicates the day of the week, while the longer hand indicates the month and week number. A date window is also located at 3 o'clock. Notably, the letters and numbers on the limited edition are subtly different from the standard model.

This watch is powered by the 26-330 S C J SE automatic movement, assembled from 304 parts, only 4.82 mm thick, containing 50 jewels, oscillating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), fitted with a 21K gold rotor, and offering a 45-hour power reserve.

A 7-toothed star wheel is located on the central hour wheel of the movement, controlling the day of the week display. Another 7-toothed star wheel has elongated teeth on its day-of-the-week wheel to drive a 53-toothed periodic wheel via a fork. The two pushers at 8 and 10 o'clock on the side of the case are used to adjust the day of the week and the week number, respectively. The date can be adjusted when the crown is pulled out halfway. Patek Philippe considers the week containing January 4th as the first week of each year. The 53-divided week number scale takes into account years with 53 weeks. This occurs every 5 to 6 years, and the next time will be in 2026.
